Ups and Downs
A summer’s day is made for play
When I’m with my best friend.
It doesn’t matter what the weather
We never let fun end
Even when the rain comes out to chase
The bright sunshine inside.
We look around our magic land
And find a place to hide,
Share secrets only girls can know,
And make a future plan
Of what we’ll create to play on next
When the sun comes out again.
